I was handed a basic document outlining the homepage requirements and a rough layout. My task was to take that raw content and build a credible, high-converting brand presence from scratch.

I wasn't given a lot to start with on this one—basically just a document outlining the homepage requirements and a very rough layout. A logo had been put together by another designer in the studio, but outside of the color palette, it didn't give me a whole lot of direction for the site.

I built the entire experience from the ground up, creating the wireframes and UI based on the content in the supplied document.

The Challenge

There was a lack of a visual foundation. A logo existed, but it didn't offer much direction beyond a colour palette. I had to bridge the gap between a text-heavy Word doc and a premium UI, which meant making high-level decisions on typography, imagery, and hierarchy without a style guide.

Project Goals

  • Take a colour palette and turn it into a cohesive, trust-heavy UI that works for property finance.

  • Use clean layouts and lifestyle imagery to make a "zero upfront cost" model feel professional and legitimate.

  • Use the project as a playground to learn and implement new UI animations in Figma to make the final experience feel more fluid.
